Jonathan and Bethany are getting married next week (!). We went to Jesmond Dene a while ago for the pre-wedding photos. Jesmond Dene is a huge woodland park in the centre of Newcastle. We go there often for picnics and games in the summer, walking under cherry blossoms in the spring.
Love the smiles!
Jesmond Dene is very popular on Sundays in the summer. We found a bit of quietness among the green.
A moss covered stone bridge.
My personal favourites.
Guess. What did he say?
The couple shared their proposal story with me. Very sweet and exciting! Jonathan was very successful at hiding the ring and giving his girl a lovely surprise. And I love how he managed to record the moment too!
What did they see on the other side of the water?
I imagined a romantic background of woods and water with them on the stepping stones for this shot. But when we got there, the stepping stones happened to be mostly under water that particular day. So the photo became a lighthearted fun one.
It was almost the end of the rhododendron season. But the beautiful pink was kept just for them!
Thanks Jonathan and Bethany. We look forward to your big day!
